Your daily tasks 1
You use our powerful ERP system as your daily tool to:
- Create requests for quotations and compare the best offers
- Process orders professionally
- Monitor and book orders and flows of goods
- Manage document storage and archiving
- Carry out material procurement and scheduling efficiently
- Optimize inventory planning and management
You will also work closely with our suppliers, take over invoice control and archiving, and help determine article requirements using a clever forecasting system. You will also be involved in price negotiations and supplier searches and provide support for new product launches.
What you bring with you 2
- A successfully completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g. industrial clerk) or a degree in economics or technology
- We require industry knowledge in metal processing
- Ideally professional experience in a similar position
- Good knowledge of purchasing law and contracts
- Excellent written and spoken German and at least business fluent English, especially in technical vocabulary
- A technical understanding and the willingness to familiarize yourself with technical product topics
- Very good IT skills, including common Microsoft programs
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
